Emergency Road Closure - Park Road

We have been advised of an emergency road closure from Anglian Water for Park Road, Irthlingborough. The road will be closed for five days from 20th June 2022 for repairs to a leaking comms pipe. Should you require any additional information please contact Adam Stillyards on 07971 067415.

Platinum Jubilee Coins For Sale

Platinum Jubilee Coins For Sale

Irthlingborough Town Council purchased commemorative Platinum Jubilee Coins which were presented to all the school and nursery children in the town.

There are some remaining if anyone would like to purchase one for £2.00.

They will be for sale from the council offices Monday to Friday 9am until 1pm for cash only.

Also at the 2nd July Market on Parsons Green

Platinum Jubilee Beacon Lighting - 2nd June at 9.45pm

Platinum Jubilee Beacon Lighting - 2nd June at 9.45pm

On Thursday 2nd June 2022 at 9.45pm The Town Council ask that you join them on Parsons Green for the lighting of a beacon. The Town Crier and a bugler will be joining us to light our beacon at 9.45pm.

This will coincide with 1,500 beacons being lit throughout the country in tribute to her majesty.

The church will also be lit up in red, white and blue.

Officers from your local neighbourhood policing team will be holding a Knife Amnesty & Crime Prevention Roadshow on 18/05/2022 at Co- Op Car Park Irthlingborough between 17:00 to 18:00 hours.

Please come along to speak to your local officers and dispose of any unwanted knives and sharp items from within your home.

Successful Town Run

Successful Town Run

On Sunday 8th May Irthlingborough Town Council held its first Town Run. The weather was perfect and there was a great atmosphere with runners, dog walkers and a lady in her wheelchair completing the 5K course around the town. The event raised £260 for the local youth club and we plan to make it into more of a family fun run next year.

'Her Majesty's Shoes' Saturday 4th June at 3pm

'Her Majesty's Shoes' Saturday 4th June at 3pm

A performance will take place on Saturday 4th June at 3pm at the Community Centre as part of the Towns Platinum Jubilee Celebrations.

This event is FREE as sponsored by the Town Council.
