Final budget for 2023-2024 approved by North Northamptonshire Full Council
Final budget proposals for North Northamptonshire Council for the next financial year (2023/24) have been approved at the meeting of Full Council on 23 February.
The report before Council presented a balanced revenue budget for 2023/24 as well as outlining the medium-term financial plan for the next two years.

Public Toilets Closed Today After Water Issue
Due to an issue with condensation and water the toilets in Irthlingborough have had to be closed today for safety reasons.
They will re-open tomorrow.

Extra concessionary fare support to help boost bus services
Bus operators in the North Northamptonshire Council area will continue to receive extra financial support to bolster services under the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme - if recommendations are approved next week and Government enact the relevant legislation.

New Play Area for Les O'Dell Park
Irthlingborough Town Council have considered several designs for this play area and this was chosen for the best play value. The existing swings will remain but will be re-painted and fitted with replacement seats.
Works will commence in March, ready for use in the Easter Holidays.
We very much hope you will enjoy using the refurbished play area once it is completed.

February Half Term Free Swimming Sessions
