Government Help - Energy Costs
The Government is keen to promote these schemes which are aimed at hard to reach households, many in rural areas, and which are often off grid. Eligible homes include, for example, residential park homes and houseboats. The schemes are:

There is an emergency road closure request from Anglian Water for Manton Road, Irthlingborough. The road will be closed for up to 7 days from 10th May 2023 for service repairs.

New Mayor Elected
Last night at the Annual Meeting of the Council Cllr Ethan Hopkinson was elected as the Mayor for the new council year.
Cllr Tracy Walton was elected as Deputy.

Coronation Stones Donated to Schools
Irthlingborough Town Council has purchased a Coronation Stone for each school for them to place in their grounds to mark the historic occasion of the Coronation of King Charles III.
It is planned that a further stone will be placed in the Town Centre for all to enjoy, location to be revealed upon completion of the Town Centre car park.

Have your say on proposed revisions to the home to school transport policy in North Northamptonshire for 2024-2025 onwards
People are being asked for their views on new policy proposals for the future of home to school transport provided in North Northamptonshire.
The changes will affect the transport for both pupils of a statutory school age and for those aged over 16, continuing with their education.
