The Government are launching a Shop Local Week commencing 10 August and running until 17 August, Shop Local Week encourages people to pop out to their favourite greengrocer, bakery or florist, or any other local shop, by demonstrating how businesses are safely welcoming customers back.

Following their compulsory closure in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, leisure facilities owned by East Northamptonshire Council (ENC) will start to re-open from Saturday 25 July.

Today the Mayor Adrian Winkle was honoured to hand out two Pride of Irthlingborough Mayor's Awards.
