'Her Majesty's Shoes' Saturday 4th June at 3pm

A performance will take place on Saturday 4th June at 3pm at the Community Centre as part of the Towns Platinum Jubilee Celebrations.

This event is FREE as sponsored by the Town Council.

'Her Majesty's Shoes' is a 30min performance, set in a Northampton shoe factory. A case of mistaken identity ensues and the workers on the shop floor share anecdotes of how they or a friend or family member met the Queen. All the stories are real and taken from our local community, which makes this play all the more special.

The play itself will be full of audience participation and will appeal to people of all ages. Our aim is to bring people together in celebration and to share stories and anecdotes of our community's connection with Queen Elizabeth II.
